Our Story
About Us
Cwm Dog Retreat is a dog home boarding, daycare and training establishment run by dedicated professionals, Lisa and Paul. When we adopted our first rescue dog, Nambo, in 2009, we instantly became obsessed with all things canine. As a result, we created our business, which first started as a dog walking and training outfit, Cwm Dog Walkers. A few years later, we became licensed home boarders, offering a homely alternative to kennel based boarding. In 2016, we built our soft play dog creche, licensed for daycare Monday to Friday.
Although we lost our beloved boy, Nambo in 2022, his legacy lives on, and we continue to provide a caring environment, and positive, reward based training, with the help of our three rescue dogs, Guto, Cuddles, and Barry. We are qualified and experienced in all aspects of animal care and behaviour, in both academic and practical subjects.
Mission
Our mission is provide a caring and fun environment for your dogs. Whether they are with us for a holiday stay, just for the day, or visiting for a training session, our aim is for your dogs to have a great time!
Vision
We believe your dogs should be cared for as if they were our own. Our vision is for all of our our canine customers to love coming to us for their holiday.
